This is a temp role to cover annual leave.

Duties

Based on reception, your duties will include:

  • Meeting & greeting guests;
  • Answering enquiries;
  • Liaising with clients;
  • File management;
  • Filing & archiving;
  • Overflow Paralegal work for the Personal Injury team; and
  • Drafting correspondence and documents.

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

  • 1+ years legal experience;
  • A flexible and proactive approach;
  • Exceptional attention to detail;
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude; and
  • Experience with MS Suite.

About our Client 

This leading boutique law firm is looking for an experienced family law Legal Assistant to support in their family practice supporting three lawyers. This firm pride themselves on having a professional, yet fun and relaxed culture in a supportive environment. They provide competitive renumeration with opportunity to increase earnings with a quarterly incentive programme in place. The practice covers a range of matters including custody, divorce, property settlements, child support and spousal maintenance.

Responsibilities: 

  • Diary management and arranging appointments 
  • Drafting and amending documents and correspondence 
  • File management 
  • End of month billing 
  • Dictaphone/typing
  • Liaising with clients 


To be successful you will have: 

  • A minimum two years’ experience supporting in family law
  • Experience using a document management and billing system 
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Strong organisational skills
  • A fast and accurate typing speed 
  • Clear communication skills
